An idea has cropped up that we love but need to know who is willing to participate. The idea is to send bars of soap to P&G to tell them we want a new home to save our soap. Some suggested CBS but that is really a lost cause. Our best hope is pushing P&G to make sure they aren't just giving us lip service and they really are looking for a new home for As the World Turns.
We would set a target date for sometime in January so we all send the soap at the same time. We highly recommend making it a P&G brand which would be Ivory, Camay, Olay, Old Spice, Safeguard, and Zest. We need to get an idea if people would really be willing to do this. There are a lot of groups out there with efforts to save the show and we would all need to combine on this. P&G would laugh at a few hundred bars of soap but with thousands, they would know we are serious.

I'm a watcher and fan for almost 20 years.
I'm posting the episodes on YouTube, and I'm really lost if ATWT just disapear at once.
Just lets fight together, to save our favorite show.
I know, it's CBS to blame about the cancelation, but P&G can do what ever they want.
So P&G keep on producing the show, and just give it away to some channel to watch, with taking equel revenues.
The $50 million invest in the show, will pay back with the right promotion, to buy your products to keep ATWT turning. ;-)

I definately will do this, and I can enlist my family. I think if this is a success we should do carnations for Valentines Day

As the World Turns is one of the best Soaps on TV. I have grown up with the saga for 35 years. Their family is mine. Now I feel like an orphan. This show needs to continue. It has true family values and story plots unlike the other superficial soaps on TV.
I just talked to Cahill from Telenext media, the number that was here. I told him all the crazy rumors out their that there not even looking, their just telling fans what they want to hear to shut the fans up. And also P&G wants out of the soap business. Said all those negative rumors out their are totally false. We are truly looking for another network don't believe every thing you read on the internet. When we have something confirmed, you will hear an official statement from us rather or not the show has been picked up. I said we are not getting are hopes up because we have herd this before with GL it's hard to hold out hope.
